Introduction
Your voice. Why is it so hard to be you?

Your voice. Why is it so hard to be you?

Fear.

Being judged.

Worried that being honest might not work out.

Vulnerability is seen as a weakness.

No one else has your viewpoint.

What if I stand out?

What if I don’t?

All of the above.

Hmmm.

On the brighter side, you have a monopoly on being you.

A voice doesn’t come from a meeting or a committee.

It comes from a human.

It comes from the books they have read.

The conversations they have had, the experiences endured.

The family they have been raised by.

There is no manual to read.

The voice is fragile in the wrong hands.

Don’t delegate this.

“I don’t want you to be more like me; I want you to be more like you.”
