“The three most important turns on a ski slope are the last three before you get back on the lift.”
Because they set up how you start again.
It’s a mindset thing.
I like to think about this quote in terms of ideas.
Ideas are the start.
Execution is the finish.
To make your ideas fly, they require you to finish them well.
Give finishing them as much attention as you gave the original idea.
In terms of design.
That detail that most won’t ever notice.
The impact on the environment.
That has to be a given.
How it feels.
How it smells.
How it is repaired.
You know, everything.
Make those last three turns count.
