The magic of constant gentle pressure

The magic of constant gentle pressure

When I hire people, I always buy them a book that I think may help them the most.

Charlotte joined us this week.

I bought her ‘Setting the Table’ by Danny Meyer. (I have given it away dozens of times.)

Back in the days of travel to New York City, I would always book a table at Gramercy Tavern.

The food. Wow.

The service. Also Wow.

When you read the book, that is no surprise.

The culture is set.

The one key takeaway for me was this phrase.

‘Constant Gentle Pressure.’

How those little nudges each day matter.

When done relentlessly.

Oh boy.

That be where the gold is.
