Introduction
No one picked up their phone in 3 hours. Not once.

No one picked up their phone in 3 hours. Not once.

How often does that happen?

Some context.

Last night a group of us had dinner with a 86 year old legend.

In his day, Butler to the highest office in the land.

He started a butler school to train the next generation while still doing his day job.

He still runs it today.

And with each story told, some wisdom imparted.

“Do it right from the start, and you will do it right for 40 years.”

“Every job has something you don’t like doing. No matter how much you love it”

“Teapot to kettle. Not kettle to teapot. Don’t lose heat.”

We sat there and just listened.

Normally, I write notes on my phone.

But not last night.

I didn’t want him to think that I wasn’t giving him all my attention.

BECAUSE I WAS ALL IN.
