Introduction
T.A.G > G.A.T.

T.A.G > G.A.T.

Let me explain.

T.A.G. = There At Genesis.

And the opposite.

G.A.T. = Getting-in At Top.

Colin spoke in our barn about how Radiohead worked, but I wasn’t at that early gig in Oxford where only a handful turned up.

We started accepting Bitcoin on our website back in 2013. Early. But a long way from the genesis.

To be there at the beginning is the holy grail for some.

Being early matters to them.

So they have their radar on.

They are on the forums.

They read the zines.

They arrive early.

THAT IS WHO THEY ARE.

They are hard-wired to discover.

I am fascinated by their mindset.

The reason I was thinking about this is a little random.

For the last few months, I have been quietly building my own blog and newsletter.

The only two people who know about it are the man who built it, and my mate who I swim with most mornings.

And yet.

I have three other subscribers.

They have a 100% read ratio.

I have no clue how they found out.

I haven’t even got a launch date.

But they can say they were there before anyone else.

And that is their badge of honour.

Those early birds are important to your brand.

Look after them.
