Will this be bigger than Instagram?
I asked my eldest daughter this question because of what I saw happen at dinner.
At the start of a friend’s celebratory dinner of 20 people, 8 were on BeReal.
By the time the deserts had arrived, all 20 were on it.
(In short, the kids persuaded the adults.)
I had not seen anything like that since the early days of Instagram.
So, why is BeReal interesting?
- You can’t be perfect.
- You don’t get to choose when to post.
Anyways, back to the question.
Her answer surprised me.
She said NO WAY.
I asked why she thought that.
She said we want to keep the companies out - ‘We want our space.’
Who can blame them?
