Dear constraint,

As long as there is breath in me, I will keep going.

I will find a way.

The barrier may seem tall or even impossible.

But all is never lost.

Ideas come to me in my hour of need.

They say opportunity often makes its appearance as a barrier in disguise. I guess I must remember that when you visit me again.

And rather than cuss about you, I should thank you.

You forced me to think in ways I haven’t done before.

You were the grit I needed.

You reminded me of how much this matters to me.

I can only hope the next time you drop by that I do a better job of recognising you for what you truly are.

A beautiful constraint.
