Don’t compare.

Today, I was in the Chicken Shed writing all day.

I rearranged 26 letters into an order that was more compelling.

That was what I had to show the world for my endeavour. (And all that coffee I had drunk.)

Next to the shed, Slim, the builder, started work on knocking down the Greenhouse.

By the end of the day, it was all gone.

In the house, the painter started a room.

By the end of the day, it was all finished.

My point today is this.

We look at others and compare.

And it doesn’t help us.

If inflation is a thief of money, then comparison is a thief of energy.

Some days, progress can be measured in inches.

Some days in miles.

But, progress is progress.

Fall in love with the gain you made.

Not the gap between you and others.
